Voice Alarm
Voice Alarms for Recorded Warnings and Directions
A voice alarm communicates a spoken instruction where a tone alone may not explain the required action. Garrison’s LK-V01 is intended for local security alerts, restriction warnings and directions. Keep the recorded message brief, specific to the location and understandable to the people likely to hear it.
LK-V01 Playback Features
The LK-V01 uses a digital voice chip to store one message of up to 20 seconds. Its product page lists a built-in amplifier and speaker with adjustable volume. These features allow a prepared message to be played locally through the unit.
Plan Triggering and Audibility
Check the power supply and trigger interface before connecting the voice alarm to other equipment. Test speech clarity under normal background-noise conditions and review the message language. For evacuation use, confirm applicable system requirements; a recorded-message unit should not be assumed to replace a required life-safety system.
Prepare an Application Brief
Send Garrison the message purpose, installation environment, trigger source and quantity. Identify the listening area and any existing alarm equipment to support model selection.
